Check Out the New Secondhand Smoke Look

The transition of SHS to the First Things family of blogs will soon be upon us. To see what it will look like, you can go to FT's new home page--still only partially constructed--and then hit the blogs link. Secondhand Smoke will appear. Hit that link, and you will find me, or actually SHS as it looked a week or so ago. (They have not yet transferred the latest posts to the FT site). Or go there directly from here.

I will not be using Blogger once the transition is completed, but you should be able to access SHS the same old way--you won't have to go through FT. I still intend to permit comments. My hope is that the added viewership will make things even more interesting around here than they already are.

Thanks to all for your viewership and participation.

I hate to say it Wesley but I think you had a great thing going and for you to change your site in any way seems like a shame or is it a sin?

Whatever "IT" is! Hope "IT" makes you happy!

I hear ya! Gee Victor, I'm not going to die on you! :)

Thanks Victor. I did too. But the opportunity to reach thousands of readers who might never fund SHS was too good to pass up. (Plus, I'll have an IT guy to turn to when things go wrong.) Nothing's going to change in content. The look will be similar. But hopefully more people will be part of the fun.

I'm commenting over here [hopefully you get it!] because I can't comment over there!

There's no "submit" button to comment and when I just click enter, I get a nice little JavaScript pop-up that my eMail is invalid. There are a few other problems, but these are the biggies.

Congratulations Wesley and SHS. The more people see it the better, and they'll do the same as everybody is doing already, and tell someone else, who'll tell someone else...
