Holding Plastic Bags Over the Heads of People in Final Exit Network Assisted Suicides

I have been following various aspects of the FEN activists' arrests. But this aspect of the story really caught my attention. SHSers will recall that I mentioned the book A Chosen Death in a previous post, and how its author Lonny Shavelson watched a Hemlock operative kill "Gene" by preventing him from tearing off a plastic bag she had put over his head.

Well now, it appears that the FEN activists may have done the very same thing! From the story:

At the Dawson County residence on Wednesday, [Ted] Goodwin [head of FEN and vice president of the World Federation of the Right to Die Societies] allegedly walked the undercover agent through the steps and demonstrated how he would hold the agent's hands to stop him from removing the exit bag, Bankhead said.

The GBI said that after the death occurs, "all evidence is removed from the scene by the 'guides' and discarded, as evidence indicated happened in the Cumming case."
Can you imagine holding someone down as they suffocate to death?

Are they wearing sunglasses while they do it? Do they make the person being murdered wear those sunglasses? Do the sunglasses have little holes in them through which to watch the "eclipse" of the person's life? Can you imagine watching a loved one who wants to live be suffocated to death by doctors "legally"?

What? They deliberately hold the person's hands? How in the world do they square this in their own minds with the claim that this is the person's own choice and that it is assisted suicide at all?

What minds? Or at least, what kind of minds? They don't seem to be interested in squaring anything; they might say, "Well, it's natural that the person would resist, it's part of the death." They are just sick. And after all, they're holding their hands through it. Nor can the person get them arrested after they are done. This is just so horrible that there are no words for it, and it's truly scary that people like this walk among us -- and they do.

In a society in which animals aren't just killed for food, but "to help mankind in the cause of science" by the educated, insulated, and revered, what can we expect when suffering and death are treated as inconsequential and "in the cause of good" and constantly brought about for the sake of the careers of doctors, scientists, researchers, etc. in laboratories? Kevorkian wants to experiment, right? Life being regarded as subservient to experimentation leads to death being caused being regarded as ok.

They'd put bags over their own heads to escape detection if it would protect them. Maybe that's why they are fascinated with putting bags over their victims' heads. Hey, if they all wore bags over their heads all the time at least we could see who they are instead of their masquerading as legitimate members of society. I wonder if people chased them around in order to put plastic bags over their heads and suffocate them it would make them knock it off. Because they certainly don't want to be caught, let alone knocked off themselves.

What do they need helium and plastic bags all of that and crews of people and suicide tourism to Swtizerland for? Don't they have those capsules in James Bond movies etc. where the person takes one and 10 seconds later they're dead? Can't they get hold of some of that?
