This Blog considers assisted suicide/euthanasia, bioethics, human cloning, biotechnology, radical environmentalism, and the dangers of animal rights/liberation. I heard your interview with Tony Snow, and was completely shocked. I had absolutely no idea the turn things had taken in Europe, relative to euthanasia. With Europe's tacit approval, how can any of them ever condemn what the Nazi's did by making some of the very same decisions?
jediwannabe: Thanks for writing. All is not hopeless. Yes, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland are in freefall on this issue. Luxembourg has one more vote before it legalized euthanasia too.
But the UK has defeated attempts at legalization, it isn't going anywhere soon in Germany, Poland, either.
Next battlegrounds, I predict, will be Spain, France, and the Czech Republic.
