PETA Animal Killers Convicted of...Littering
I wonder if PETA gets the irony? Its workers, who were accused of animal cruelty for euthanizing dogs and cats--some of whom were adoptable--and then dumping them into a trash bin, were found not guilty of that charge. Instead, the jury found them guilty of littering.
Okay. But what does that mean about the moral worth of the animals that were killed? If one dumped human remains in a trash container, the charge would be far more serious than mere littering. So, while the jury decided not to hit the PETA killers too hard, it also--in its own way--issued an implied message about human exceptionalism and the vast difference between the moral worth of animals and that of people. As I said: I wonder if PETA gets the irony?

animal killers, abusers, etc. are heartless. if they think abusing cats, dogs, rabits, etc., makes them bigger, or think its right, theyr'e wrong out of their minds. i don't understand why you would take your anger out on innocent beings, they didnt do anything to you. i thought about this before and i felt the same way about dog fighting. if people think doing harm to human-beings is wrong, then same is for animals. im very angry & upset about this & i hope to everyone who reads this or atleast knows someone who has this problem about abusing animals, then think twice about what your'e doing. your'e cruel. your'e heartless. how would you like it if someone dumped you in the garbage, or skinned you alive. exactly. so think twice about what your'e doing & drop dead.
Nobody supports abusing animals. Dog fighting is wrong. So is what the PETA people did.
My point was that if indeed, humans were being killed and dumped in the trash--as the PETA employees did--than it would be considered far worse than littering. That is because human life has greater value.
Hence, this was not a "victory for PETA," but a defeat in that the jury recognized the greater value of human life.
It is true that in certain countries there are a lot of homeless animals such as cats and dogs, however there are quite a lot of homeless humans. One day I will do my best to prevent killing the animal homeless that are and were loyal to humans for hundreds of years and do not deserve to die. We take care of the human homeless, why not let the left out pets that were once treated as humans and were loved to live? If you think this is just bullying, you are wrong. This is the unthoughtfullness of the human race. Some have an answer that for example homeless dogs become dangerous, but humans as well are bullies, burglers and killers. We are all equal! Martin Lurther King was fighting against raisism and there should be a fight for a balance between humans and animals. TREAT THEM EQUALY TO US!
