The Beauty of the Pescadero, California

Secondhand Smokette and I needed to get away and relax: So, we escaped to a coast town south of San Francisco called Pescadero for a night of Bed and Breakfast. I have a new camera, so I thought I'd see what it could do. Here are a few of the pics with which I am most pleased. I hope you are too.

Flowers were everywhere:

Seagulls and fog:

As I began shooting, this horse kept putting his head in and out of the window--almost as if he was showing off.

A tree grows in the wetlands:

Nice pictures.

Hey Wesley, you do have a life after all! :)

By the way, have you heard if there's any truth to the rumor that anything you place on facebook can become their property?

Peace

I hear you, Victor! Time to have a life on occasion, I admit, I do from time to time. I have not heard that rumor about Facebook but it would be unenforceable.

I especially like the horse photo, so much, I am gong to blot it up and if it still looks good hang it in my office with my other favorite shots. That horse was a hoot. He was in a farther window when I began shoting, he walked to the closer window, seen in the photo. And he kept putting his head in and out of the window.

Have a nice --and well-deserved -- rest, Wesley!

Of course the horse was showing off. Non-human animals have minds and sensibilities. They don't have to be human to be entitled not to be experimented on. The horse was telling SHS to reconsider human exceptionalism. He knew who you were and used his horse sense to communicate to you who he is. Glad you got away for a bit; you deserved a break; the photos are great; I think there's a reason you went there and met that horse.
