Secondhand Smoke: Your 24/7 Seminar on Bioethics and the Importance of Being Human
This Blog considers assisted suicide/euthanasia, bioethics, human cloning, biotechnology, radical environmentalism, and the dangers of animal rights/liberation. My views expressed here, as in my books and other writings, reflect my understanding that the philosophy of human exceptionalism is the bedrock of universal human rights. Or, to put it another way: human life matters. (The opinions expressed here are my own and not necessarily those of any organization with which I am affiliated.)

Here's an encouraging start to the year: I just heard Michael Savage say on his show that suicide is the worst crime of all; he said he'd never addressed that subject on his show before, but much of what he routinely addresses dovetails with the topics here. He didn't mention assisted suicide, but he talked of euthanasia, loss of moral standards, hedonism, breakdown of society and order, what's going on in Holland, including euthanasia, how the 'virus' ofliberalism works like AIDS, which lies dormant weakening the immune system until infections can take hold, the connection with radical Muslim terrorists, etc. Happy New Year!
