Secondhand Smoke: Your 24/7 Seminar on Bioethics and the Importance of Being Human
This Blog considers assisted suicide/euthanasia, bioethics, human cloning, biotechnology, radical environmentalism, and the dangers of animal rights/liberation. My views expressed here, as in my books and other writings, reflect my understanding that the philosophy of human exceptionalism is the bedrock of universal human rights. Or, to put it another way: human life matters. (The opinions expressed here are my own and not necessarily those of any organization with which I am affiliated.)

Me too.
Actually, I'd thought about having a blog for a while but what prompted me to start one was an email from an Egyptian man named Tarek Amr. I usually don't criticize things people write on their own blogs, not right away anyway, but I must have been in a bad mood the first time I ran across his blog and I took issue with something he said. He emailed me "where is your blog" and said that he'd be interested to read my thoughts. And not to worry that I'd run out of things to say. I think my family has benefited from not having to hear my rants all the time.
: )
I checked it out. Cool.
SHSmokette still has to put up with my rants. But when she lowers her head and gives me "that look" I know it is time to shut up.
Hey, Wesley, The Miami Herald ran a Dave Barry column from 2001 in which he satirized human cloning. It's pretty funny. You can find it here: http://reflectionsofaparalytic.com/?p=655
Thanks, chelsea, I'll check it out.
