Study Reveals Why Men Marry Younger Women!
Did they really need to do a study to answer this? The authors say it is about evolutionary imperatives. Baloney. Men are hound dogs. It's that simple.
Yes indeed, Secondhand Smokette is a much younger woman!

My Daddy's first wife was two years older than him - she passed away when their girls were seven and five. He married my mother when he was 39 and she was 19.
My mother's younger sister was 37 when she finally got married. Her husband was 26.
My uncle Charlie was 50 when he married his 34-year-old wife. Her sister was 36 and married a 28-year-old man.
Ironically, all these people have been together for years and are quite happily married.
My sisters (my father's daughters, mentioned above) both married men about the same age as themselves, and both are divorced/separated. So is my cousin Joe and his wife, who are about seven months apart.
Age don't mean a thing, Wesley. The chicks in my family are as apt to marry younger men as the dudes are to marry younger women. Every time I've dated someone I thought was my age or older, it turned out he was at least three years younger than me. So eh, I don't buy that evolution bit - the heart knows what it knows, and it doesn't know calendars.
*makes sure grandmother is still dead*
My mom's mom was a year older than her dad, and had the pile of tickets because she scratched the year off of all her IDs. Every single time.
We already *know* guys tend to be attracted to younger women-- although I like Fine's point to show that humans throw a monkey in the works of any prediction of action. *Grin*
Interesting. I certainly can agree with the "hound dog" comment but some of us hound dogs do get muzzled. After 39 years of being married to a wonderful "older" woman (by 6 months)I still wouldn't traded her in. Or, maybe the truth is she is still willing to tolerate me!
Thanks Wesley for lightening things up a bit.
Age means nothing.
My daughter has always dated younger guys...and is now married to a man a yr younger!
Means nothing.
