This Blog considers assisted suicide/euthanasia, bioethics, human cloning, biotechnology, radical environmentalism, and the dangers of animal rights/liberation. My views expressed here, as in my books and other writings, reflect my understanding that the philosophy of human exceptionalism is the bedrock of universal human rights. Here we go again: A patient who supposedly had no chance of recovery has awakened. He states that while he was unable to respond, he could hear everything around him--verifying the article published in The Scientist that those in PVS may be able to hear, which I blogged on September 20 (available in archives).
