PETA Tells Kids That Daddy Might Kill the Dog if he Fishes

PETA is after your children. In the latest outrage, PETA has told children whose fathers fish, that their dads might kill the family pet: "Until your daddy learns that it's not "fun' to kill, keep your doggies and kitties away from him. He's so hooked on killing defenseless animals that they could be next!''

This is more than outrageous. But typical. PETA doesn't care if it undercuts family relationships in the cause of creating human/animal moral equality and making it so that people can't eat meat (or fish) for dinner.

wow! In my youth I used to go fishing with my father. My family owned a dog, a cat (sometimes with her kittens) as well as fish and a galah named Fred. My sons have also enjoyed the past time of fishing.

Somebody at PETA needs a reality check. There is no relationship between the relaxing sport of fishing and killing animals. These people do not have a clue and they are so dangerous that there should be a warning label stuck to them: Beware of liars and hysterical animal rights activists. They distort the truth at every opportunity.

The art of fishing from a boat, or on the seashore or on the banks of a river, is very relaxing. The aim is not always to catch the fish but simply to have a relaxing time.

For fishermen who are more serious, such as the Australian Rex Hunt, there are certain codes that they follow. I mention Rex Hunt because he used to have a fishing segment on the TV and he was well known for catching the fish, kissing them and releasing them back into the waters.

You couldn't be more right, Maggie. I have fished a lot and believed in eating what I caught. I never wanted to stab my cat as a result.
