This Blog considers assisted suicide/euthanasia, bioethics, human cloning, biotechnology, radical environmentalism, and the dangers of animal rights/liberation. My views expressed here, as in my books and other writings, reflect my understanding that the philosophy of human exceptionalism is the bedrock of universal human rights. Anglican Archbishop Rowan Williams worries that in the end, euthanasia will be about cutting costs. The United Kingdom government's response to the Leslie Burke case demonstrates the reality of this concern. The ruling body of the Church of England just voted overwhelmingly against legalizing euthanasia. Good for them.
