This Blog considers assisted suicide/euthanasia, bioethics, human cloning, biotechnology, radical environmentalism, and the dangers of animal rights/liberation. My views expressed here, as in my books and other writings, reflect my understanding that the philosophy of human exceptionalism is the bedrock of universal human rights. The media is reporting that the Bush Administration is trying to overturn Oregon's assisted suicide law in the Supreme Court. I wish. What is really at stake is the power of the federal government to enforce federal law uniformly in all fifty states. I describe the case in this article published by National Review Online.
